This week, from June 20-22, 2008, puppet troupes and audiences are arriving from all over the globe and gathering at the Main Library for Nashville’s inaugural International Puppet Festival. Performers from China, France, Germany, Italy and across the United States will delight audiences with their craft, offering both traditional shows and interactive audience workshops. For adults and children alike, this is a free event not to be missed!

Please browse around our Web site . . . read descriptions of the international troupes, reserve tickets online, sign up for our e-mail list, and discover the Nashville Public Library’s 70-year tradition of puppetry.

Note: Online reservations are closed for some performances, but a number of walk up tickets will be available on the day of the show. And there are lots of performances that don't require tickets, plus face painting, juggling and much more!
